GERMAN EGG WORKSHOP led by Leslie Salka

April 8th, 7pm-10pm (adults),  April 10th, 1-3pm (parent/child workshop)

Create an heirloom quality egg box with paint, decoupage and a bit
of imagination! We will decorate paper mache egg shaped boxes with paper decorations inspired by the vintage Easter decorations from the past.  You will learn various paint & decoupage techniques to decorate an egg you can keep or give as a lovely gift.
$45 includes all materials (8 spaces)

NESTING DOLLS with artist Fran Traina

April 9th, 1pm-4pm

Illustrator Fran Traina will guide you through the process of developing an idea and executing it using acrylics paints on your own set of nesting dolls.  She will teach you the basics of acrylic paints and how to use them.   $40 includes all materials (6 spaces)

MOSAIC FLOWER POT with Leslie Salka

2 sessions April 29th 7pm-9pm and May 4th  7pm-9pm
Terra cotta takes on your own personal style!  In this workshop Leslie Salka will teach you how to use simple mosaic techniques to beautify a flowerpot for your home or garden that you can gaze at all summer long.  It can also be given as a gift for someone else to enjoy!  In the first session you will decorate your pot with glass tiles and in the second session you will learn to grout your piece.
$65 includes all materials (8 spaces)

CREATE YOUR OWN INNER CHILD DOLL with artist Beth Costello

May 11th,18th, 25th, June 1st, and 8th Wednesdays 7pm-9pm
Let artist Beth Costello help you honor your inner child by creating a hand-sewn canvas doll from start to finish.  You will begin by drawing a sketch of your own “inner child” and then taking it and printing it on canvas.  From there you will sew and stuff your doll and let it shine by finishing it off with color and embellishments to make it completely “you”.   5 sessions $150 includes all materials (8 spaces)

Jewelry Making Workshop with designer Kathleen DiResta
3 Sessions- April 8,15, and 29th  for ages 9 and up  (8 spaces)   Fridays 4pm-5pm
This is a three-part course that will teach your child the basics of jewelry making.  In week one your child will learn different beading materials and techniques by creating a necklace and bracelet with colorful beads.   In week two the student will work with copper and brass wire to make shapes with pliers and texture with a hammer.  In the final session your child will learn how to use stamping tools to create letters and texture into copper and they will make an initial pendant that hangs on a satin cord.  Cost $100 (8 spaces)  Includes all materials.

Adult Beading Workshop with Kat DiResta
Thursday April 28th 7-9pm
In this workshop you will make your own beaded necklace with a charm! Jewelry designer will guide the students to create a beaded necklace on silver plated memory wire.  You'll learn how to texture a brass or copper disc and be able to personalize it with an initial or your own design. Sterling silver discs are available for an additional price. Materials and resource list will be provided.
